What is the Flight Crew View Logbook API?

The Flight Crew View Logbook API allows developers to access and sync flight data for Flight Crew View users. This API enables integration with third-party logbook applications, helping pilots and flight attendants maintain accurate and up-to-date records of their flights.

How Does It Work?

The Flight Crew View Logbook API allows 3rd parties to securely connect to the Flight Crew View app and ask for your permission to access your flight schedule.

What Info Is Shared?

Flight Crew View does not share any information to 3rd party logbook applications without your explicit permission to grant authorization to the logbook. Once granted, Flight Crew View will allow access to your flight history and future scheduled flights and the flight deck crew (pilots) that are on those flights.

Why isn't my logbook supported?

Each logbook will need to request and implement their own access to Flight Crew View. Reach out to them and point them to this page to request access: Flight Crew View Logbook API

How do I allow access?

Go to one of the supported apps above. Find the section under your account that ties your logbook to Flight Crew View and tap to request access.


You will be forwarded to Flight Crew View's logbook authorization page. Follow the instructions to enter a passkey to authorize access to the logbook:


  1. Open the Flight Crew View app.
  2. Navigate to the app's menu > Settings.
  3. Expand the Logbook section.
  4. Tap on Generate Passkey.


Enter that passkey into the authorization page and that's it! Your logbook is now connected to FC View.


Each logbook will implement their own functionality around how this works once authorized. See their FAQ for more information on how to sync your logbook with FC View.
