Flica Open Time Alerts
FC View is just a 3rd party app and isn't associated with Flica, so these alerts are not generated by the app. To manage your Open Time alerts, log into the www.flica.net website. If you are having trouble with Open Time alerts, you'll have to get a hold of Flica's Crew Member Technical Support.
Android notification troubleshooting
- Make sure that the app is up to date:
- Ensure that notifications are enabled for Flight Crew View in the phone's Settings app:
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Navigate to Apps > Flight Crew View > Notifications.
- Make sure notifications are allowed.
- Tap on Notification Categories and make sure they are both enabled.
- Check if your device is in "Do Not Disturb" mode.
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Navigate to Notifications > Do not disturb.
- Make sure it is off, or add an exception for Flight Crew View in the App notifications section.
- Make sure the app isn't restricted by "Data saver" mode.
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Navigate to Connections > Data usage > Data saver.
- Make sure it is toggled off, or that Flight Crew View is set up as an "App that can always use data".
- Restart your device
- Reset and Uninstall/Reinstall the app
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Navigate to Apps > Flight Crew View > Storage.
- Tap on "Clear cache" and "Clear data" (either a button or in the menu).
- Uninstall the app.
- Reinstall the app:
Apple notification troubleshooting
- Make sure the app is up to date:
- Ensure that notifications are enabled for Flight Crew View in the phone's Settings app:
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Tap on Notifications.
- Scroll down and tap on FC View.
- Make sure Allow Notifications is toggled on and that notifications are set up the way you wish to receive them.
- Ensure Scheduled Summary is not enabled (or that FC View is not included):
- Open the Settings app (gear icon)
- Tap on Notifications.
- Make sure that Scheduled Summary is off, or that FC View is not included.
- Disable Focus Mode (Do not disturb/sleep/personal/etc)
- Swipe down from the top-right and make sure there is not a Focus mode enabled.
- Alternatively, open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Tap on Focus.
- Make sure that none of the focus settings are affecting notifications from FC View.
- Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled for FC View
- Open the Settings app (gear icon).
- Navigate to General > Background App Refresh
- Ensure that FC View is toggled on.
- Restart your device
- Reset and Uninstall/Reinstall the app:
- Open FC View and go to the app's menu > Settings.
- Expand the Flight Crew View Account section and tap on the red Logout option.
- Uninstall the app (long-press on the app's icon and tap Remove App).
- Reinstall the app:
