Note: There are 2 different accounts. A Flight Crew View account for the app. And your Flica credentials that you enter into the app. This section is for your Flight Crew View account. If you are just having trouble refreshing your schedule, skip down to Update or Reinstall app and continue down the page.


New!! Flight Crew View accounts (9/19/2020)


On September 19th, a new update was released that now requires new Flight Crew View accounts to be created. In the past, we didn't use accounts. Everything like subscriptions, etc, were just tied to your Flica username. Going forward, we need to migrate to using accounts in order to fix some issues that came up as well as to enable some new additions in the app going forward.


So, if you think you've forgotten your login, you aren't necessarily wrong! They just never existed to begin with. 


To get logged in, you just need to tap on one of the "Continue with..." buttons or enter a new Email and Password and tap on the "Register" button. After that, just follow the rest of the instructions and the app should be back up and running like normal.

Flight Crew View account password reset


If you have forgotten your Flight Crew View account password, follow these instructions to reset it:


If you are not logged in

  1. On the login page, enter your email in the Email field.
  2. Tap on Reset Password and follow the instructions.
  3. You will receive an email with a Password Reset link.
  4. Tap on the Password Reset link and enter a new password.
  5. Log in to the Flight Crew View app with that new password.


If you are logged in

  1. Go to the app's menu > Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Flight Crew View Account section.
  3. Tap on Reset Password.
  4. You will receive an email with a Password Reset link.
  5. Tap on the Password Reset link and enter a new password.



Flica account password reset


If you have forgotten your Flica password, follow these instructions to reset it:


  1. Go to www.flica.net .
  2. Tap on Forgot User ID or Password and follow the instructions.
  3. Once it is reset, go back to the app and either login or change your Flica credentials
    1. To change your Flica credentials, go to the app's menu > Settings.
    2. Scroll down to the Flica Account and tap on your Flica username.
    3. Log in with your Flica username & new password.



Update or Reinstall the app


Try just updating first, if you still have trouble, try uninstalling and then reinstalling.


Apple

    Go to the Flight Crew View listing in the iTunes App Store.


Android

Go to the Flight Crew View listing in the Google Play Store.



Flica login or refresh issues


There are many other reasons why the app may not be refreshing or allowing you to add your Flica credentials. Follow these instructions to rule out some of the more common issues:


Apple

  1. Go to the Settings app (gear icon) and go to Cellular Data.
  2. Make Sure Cellular Data is enabled and then scroll down and make sure FC View is individually enabled.
  3. Restart the device.
  4. Go back to the Flight Crew View app and try to refresh/add your Flica account.
  5. If you still have trouble, jump down to the "Both Apple & Android" section below.


Android

  1. Go to the Settings app (gear icon)
  2. Go to Apps (or Applications) > Flight Crew View > Storage.
  3. Tap on Clear Data and accept the warning.
  4. Tap on the back button to go back to App Info.
  5. Tap on Permissions and make sure Storage is enabled.
  6. Go back to the Flight Crew View app and log in with your normal Flica login (you'll have to accept all the warnings again and set up the Settings).
  7. If you still have trouble, continue to the "Both Apple & Android" section below.


Both Apple & Android


Note: These instructions will remove the schedule from your app. If these instructions don't fix it, then you may need to use the www.flica.net website to view your schedule until we can figure out what's going on.


Follow all of these instructions on your device:


  1. Go to the app's menu and select Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Flica Username section and tap Remove Flica Login.
  3. Confirm the popup by tapping on Remove.
  4. Go to your device's browser and navigate to www.flica.net
  5. Delete any autofill and manually enter your username and password and log in.
  6. Navigate to Schedules > [Current Month].
  7. If you can see your schedule, then log out of the Flica website.
  8. Go back to the Flight Crew View app.
  9. Tap on the Menu > Settings.
  10. Scroll down to the Flica Username section and tap on the empty field (where it says "Tap here to update your flica username/password").
  11. Log in with your Flica login.
